Canal du Midi
Between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean
  Realized the XVIIème century by Pierre-Paul Riquet, the Canal du Midi allows the junction between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean on 240 kilometers of inland waterways. Built at the beginning for river commercial transport, it was reconverted at the end of the XXème century in the process of tourism fluviall.
  All along the channel, you will discover as many single works for the time: bassin and drains through the Noire Mountain, écluses, tubular bridge, tunnel, etc…
